ACTIVITY 6: Catch the Thief Game

  1. Form a group of eight students.

  2. Chant the following rhyme together, counting each member one by one:

    "Tinker, Tailor
    Soldier, Sailor
    Rich man, Poor man
    Beggar man, Thief"

  3. The student who is counted as the eighth member becomes the Thief.

  4. The Thief must then describe something, such as a recent sports event they watched.

  5. If the description is satisfactory, everyone claps.

  6. If not, the Thief must follow directions given by the other students (for example, sing a song or recite a poem).

WINTER

Winter is the season of pleasant sunshine. In winter cold wind blows the whole day. We use quilts and woolens. Fruits like oranges and flowers like dahlias and marigold are found. It is a season of holidays and picnics.
